It's a common saying in Brazil that the year only starts after Carnival, so one could say we still have 15 days until 2024 really begins! So, while we're waiting, let's do a special edition and revisit some of the updates we had throughout 2023. And of course, we'll bring you the fresh updates from your favorite cybersecurity tool!

💎 The Best of 2023

Let's start this retrospective with Cloud monitoring, which brought:

  • Dozens of new checks for AWS, GCP, and Azure;

  • Correction retests in up to 1 hour;

  • And of course, a detailed justification for each check that impacts LGPD (General Data Protection Law).

💎 Then let's jump to Surface Monitoring:
  • We have a new section, Internet Exposure with lots of great insights;

  • We also introduced breakdowns for Name Servers and Fingerprints;

  • And last but not least, new Findings for critical services exposed to the internet.

💎 And let's not forget about the most important link in companies, People:
  • This year introduced Microsoft 365 monitoring;

  • Also the possibility of connecting multiple Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 accounts;

  • And of course, the ability to close findings of leaks.

💎 And for the entire platform, we introduced:
  • Microsoft login;

  • Attribution of Findings to team members;

  • And a much more granular Score.

💎 Justifications for Accepted Risk

Since its launch, it's been possible to mark Findings with the status Accepted Risk, but upon request, we introduced the ability to write a justification for the status change. This makes it easier to track the history of decisions made.

💎 And that's not all!

A few more improvements worth knowing:

  • A new check that identifies the exposure of the .git folder in web apps;

  • In the Cloud section, it's easier to see when a cloud integration needs an update;

  • Unxpose system emails are now coming from a new address: no-reply@notifications.unxpose.app;

  • And starting next month, update emails will also come from a new address: no-reply@news.unxpose.app
