After some time without writing news articles, we're back to our regular schedule. But that doesn't mean the team was standing still, quite the opposite! We have an article packed with fresh updates from your favorite cybersecurity tool. Let's dive in!

💎 Certificate Checks

Our SSL/TLS monitoring keeps getting stronger! On top of the cipher, protocol, and cryptographic vulnerability checks we already run, we've now added full certificate analysis.

The new checks identify expired, self-signed, and revoked certificates, inadequate certification keys, and other critical flaws that compromise the trust and security of your endpoints.

Access https://app.unxpose.com/web now and check your certificates inside each Web Application.

💎 New Cloud UI

This one actually shipped a little before April, but we're so proud of it that it had to make the list! We redesigned the Cloud screen to display a list of regions for your assets, and to surface configuration issues related to your Cloud account in a much more direct way.

As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. So take a look at how it turned out:

Access the CLOUD section (https://app.unxpose.com/cloud), select a Cloud account, and see for yourself!

💎 Create your Unxpose account with Google

You're probably tired of hearing that weak passwords and credential leaks are still one of the leading causes of account compromise. With that in mind, it's now possible to create an Unxpose account using only Google Sign-In, no password required.

One fewer password in the world, and more security for your company!

💎 And that's not all!

A few more improvements worth knowing:

  • Cloud integration error interface: quickly identify and understand exactly what's preventing your integration from working correctly;

  • Azure subscription listing: easily see which subscriptions are being monitored within your directory;

  • Check for expiring domains: the name says it all 🙂

After an April full of 4-day workweeks, the Unxpose team had to work with extra dedication in May to keep the ball rolling. So once again, we're combining both months into a single email packed with fresh updates from your favorite cybersecurity tool. Let’s dive in!

💎 Third Party Risk Monitoring

Today, it doesn't matter if your company has 5 or 5,000 employees, sensitive company data is spread across multiple third-party systems. Each vendor represents a potential entry point for attacks, which is why implementing a continuous vendor due diligence process isn't paranoia, it's basic risk management that protects both your business and your customers' trust.

And once again, Unxpose is here to save the day! Supplier Monitoring is now live, allowing you to track your vendors' scores along with vulnerability counts grouped by severity. Easy and automated, just the way you're used to.

Access it now at https://app.unxpose.com/suppliers and start registering your suppliers.

💎 GCP Security Checks Package!

We're constantly adding new security checks across the entire system, but this time we're bringing over 20 specifically for GCP. These checks cover Networking, BigQuery, Logging and Monitoring.

So if you use GCP, don't forget to access https://app.unxpose.com/cloud and update your integrations!

💎 And that's not all!

A few more improvements worth knowing:

  • Release notes: we've compiled all our update emails in one place, so want to see what's happened before? Just visit https://unxpose.com/release-notes;

  • Webhook failure notifications: if a webhook has been failing for more than 48 hours, we'll send an email to the entire team;

  • Reopened Findings notifications: if a Finding marked as Fixed fails the retest, the person who marked it as Fixed will receive an email notification.
